Beaver Family Session

It’s hard to put into words all the emotions of this week. If you haven’t heard what’s been going on in Charlotte, a quick Google search will fill you in. Mostly what we feel is sadness. But even though sadness, anger, frustration, disappointment, disbelief and so many other emotions have run rampant, this week has not been without hope. It’s beautiful to see people driving out darkness with light, crossing great divides through simple hugs, and loving courageously in the face of fear. People from every walk of life carry this HOPE, and for that we’re grateful.

We had the Beaver Family session scheduled for quite some time. It just happened to fall five days after Officer Tim Brackeen’s untimely death and three days before Keith Lamont Scott’s also untimely death. One thing is for sure, though this world is in a current uproar, the Beaver family is a beacon of light and hope in this world.

Jason joined the Gastonia Police Department in June. They wanted to commemorate this time in their lives by having family photos done with him in uniform.  I don’t think they could have picked a more impactful time to do so.

Thank you for letting us capture this moment in time for you.
