Wedded Weekend Part 1: Nicky and Sandy

Thank you Nicky and Sandy for letting us be a part of your special day.

“These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever.

These are the hands that will work alongside yours, as together you build your future.

These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch, will comfort you like no other.

These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief fills your mind.

These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes; tears of sorrow, and tears of joy.

These are the hands that will tenderly hold your children.

These are the hands that will help you to hold your family as one.

These are the hands that will give you strength when you need it.

And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged, will still be reaching for yours, still giving you the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.”

Safe Sendoff; Safe Return

It is always a bittersweet moment when we capture moments with military families. We are proud we know people brave enough to serve, yet we know the stress these families endure. Loved archiving some tender moments between Jamaria and Cody, and their son. They, like many others, are in our thoughts as they get deployed soon.

Ellie Adopts a New Family

Last Wednesday we had a very special session at Treehouse Vineyards. Our first of this kind and we couldn’t post it just yet. However, today at 2:00pm it was made official that Miss Ellie Grace joined the Sherbo family. Foster Care/Adoption holds a special place in our hearts and we couldn’t be happier for them. Congratulations and Happy Adoption Day!

Here Comes Camden

One of the coolest things about our venture is getting to see former students grow up and begin their own families. Lisa had the privilege of doing a hospital mini session for Mr. Camden yesterday. So new in this world and so incredibly precious. Congratulations to the new mom and dad!

Fairytales Can Have Sequels

Today we captured our 5th wedding. To be honest, this was somewhat short notice and through another connection, so we did not have the opportunity to get to know Wayne and Felicia the way we have met other couples. In fact, we heard their story from their close friends and family as we mingled and took our photos. All love stories have their own beginning. Their story is not ours to tell. But it is one of trials, acceptance, and the power love holds.
